Where the numbers come from

The headline polls Binance USDⓈ-M futures directly from your browser: ticker/24hr for last-trade change, range and quote volume; premiumIndex for mark price, index price and the funding rate with its settlement countdown. Both refresh every 30 seconds; a failed feed shows an explicit dash rather than a stale number.

Perp basis

Basis is the mark price's premium over the index, in basis points. A persistently positive basis means perpetual longs are bidding above spot — the same crowd that pays funding. Deeply negative basis flags shorts pressing below spot. It is a positioning read, not a gain or loss, so it renders neutral rather than green/red.

How to use it

• The 24h range shows high minus low in USDT. The marker locates the last trade between the two labelled extremes from the same ticker response.
• Funding with basis: both stretched positive is crowded-long territory — squeeze risk builds there.
• Volume is the credibility check: moves on thin quote volume deserve less weight.
